I have always thought of myself as a creative imaginary person. I have lots of ideas and fantasies and plans about the various things of my life.For eg,a very small dream of mine is a separate home for the four of us-me,my hubby n my sons. Even if we have our own houses,we are not free anywhere. I want to stay in a separate place with our own freedom,our own space. I dont think thats selfish of me after 6 years of marriage.
In India,i think this is a major problem. Till the end,all of us are in control of our parents(atleast subconsciously). We always have to live according to their status and dreams. How many of us have got a degree in a subject of our own will? 90% studied for their parents-of course they do everything for our own good,which we will realise only very late. But that is exactly my question...Why should they do everything for us?Let them show the right way and leave the rest to us.
In all foreign countries,once they attain the age of 18,children are free. They need not stay with their parents,need not study,can work part time and then study,anything which they like. Even in sexual matters,they are very much open minded. But here,even the word sex is forbidden.No cultural deterioration has happened to US or France or any other developed countries. India flags up the word "culture" so much that seriously we are fed up. Not free to do anything fearing these words-culture,society,people,blah blah...
After 65 years of independence,why are we still living in dark ages? I don't understand and i don't want to understand.
Thank God,atleast in Cities like Delhi,Chennai.Mumbai and Hyderabad,men and women can go out,speak and associate freely. But Kerala is still in the darkest of dark ages. 100% literacy-what is the use? nothing....

exactly the right thing, and the right the kind of thought. here we live for some others. we live for our parents, and for our children and hubby or wife and so on living a rubbish life...no meaningful moments or achievements.....no creativity....we boast of what we do not really have. and we pretend what we are really not. but still we r pretending something else than us....
